Ike Eichensehr was born in Chicago, Illinois. After graduating from Columbia College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, he enlisted in the United States Navy as a Photographer. After his 5 year enlistment, he started his career as a commercial and fashion photographer. Over the next decade Ike has shot portraits of Kobe Bryant, Donnie Yen, Kim Kardashian, Hillary Clinton, and Simon Yam to name a few. His beautiful nudes have been featured in Black & White magazine (Australia), BLUE, FHM (UK), and GQ. Fashion editorial work has been published in Hong Kong Bazaar, Marie Claire, Vogue (USA), Prestige and Elle (China & Hong Kong). His books published include "Oriental Eye" (in8 publishing), “EDEN” (fishball publishing), and Carrie Lam (Russia). He has recently completed another book “hongkongsexy” featuring 30 models from around the globe - to be released in 2019.
Based in Hong Kong for 18 years, he has shot Advertising Campaigns for FION, Kent & Curwin, Bloc Sunglasses, Tonino Lamborghini, CARAT, FLEX, and Adidas. Has had over 10 exhibitions in Hong Kong and China. Concentrating on the female form, nature and mixed art.
Inspired by the rich natural beachscapes of Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines, Ike can also be found shooting near his new home in Boracay. Capturing breathtaking views of unspoiled nature and exploring his passion for creating breathtaking imagery.
